PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Seeking physical and mental balance to increase immunity and prevent stress and anxiety? Or an athlete looking to recover after strenuous exercise? Restorative Yoga is commonly referred to among our students as "adult nap-time". In this class we use lots of blocks, bolsters, blankets, and other props to help you relax into gentle postures longer periods of time and breathe deeper. This class is ideal for beginner practitioners of all ages.

SUGGESTED EXPERIENCE

  • Ideal for beginner to advanced practitioners of all ages. Postures are easily modifiable for prenatal practice.

  • Fascia tension release

CURRICULUM INCLUDES​

  • Deep breathing techniques

  • Prop assisted gentle poses

  • Hold shapes for longer periods of time
